Rachel Akin received her BFA from the Kansas City Art Institute in 1999 and MFA from Ohio University in 2006. Currently she teaches ceramics courses at Forest Park Community College and Craft Alliance in St. Louis. She recently completed a one year ceramics residency at Craft Alliance in Grand Center.
